Once again....

I'm looking for advice on recording heavily distorted guitar through my PowerMac. Very close to clipping all the time. I've been recomended a few things.Now, I am considering SoundBlaster live. SO PLEASE, if you have any experience in this application(which i am am baffled at the lack of participation at this board,this probably will be my last post anyhow at this site)....share with me if you will.......its time for my medicine.

Thank you for posting. This site is very new, and as of yet has not really been advertised to the public yet while we sort out its function, and get it going. I recognize it seems slow now, but shortly I'm sure you'll find it bustling with activity.

Can you tell me more about your signal path? Perhaps I'll be able to help a little more if I have a better idea where you're coming from and how you're trying to record it.

i have heard very good things about the amp farm plug in, but you would need a TDM setup to use it. vintage guru's even swear by it.
