Here's what I got:

Laptop: Main Computer
Desktop: Slave Computer
FX Teleport
Monitor plugged into Desktop.
Keyboard/Trackerball plugged into Desktop.
Laptop docked.

Here's the question:
Can I use the the Desktop Monitor/Keyboard/Trackerball to run the rig without plugging them directly into the Laptop (IE through the network connection), or do I need to plug them directly.

Thank-you,

Use a KVM, or Network KVM

You could use VNC to control the 2nd machine.

I've used UltraVNC and it seems to work well. It's an open-source project, so it's free.
You have to install the server on the machine you want to connect to, and the client on the machine you want to control it from.
When you connect, you open a window that shows you the desktop of the machine you are controlling remotely.

You can also use Windows Remote Desktop to do the same, but the computer you're controlling has to have XP Pro on it.
