Recommendation Please?

Greetings,

I have a Korg TritonPro Keyboard plugged into inputs 3-4 of a Digidesign DIGI001. Is it recommended that I use a balanced or unbalanced cable?

Either way will pass signal. It would be ideal to use balanced cables to reject any interference noises that may be inducted into the cable. Another tip: if you need more level on the inputs there is a control panel under Setups>hardware>other options. You can raise the level of the Triton if it is a problem.

Aren't the back 6 inputs of the 001 unbalanced anyway?

All inputs on the 001 are balanced, as well as outputs 1 and 2. Outputs 3 thru 8, however, are not.
