Ok, im running a pc amd 1.0g and my sound card is an audiowerk2. Right now im working on a project and i have like 8 drum tracks up. When i play them back i will get this "audiowerk overload" message. Are there some little things that i can do so that i runs a little smoother? If i got more ram would that help? I only have 64mb. Thanks for any help

You can set your pc up as a server which helps with HD intensive stuff like multiple tracks. I do this quite a bit, then switch it back when I'm in "pc gaming mode"... Just a thought.

Look in Sweetwater's Support and Care section, in the tech support database,
there's an article in there about optimizing your pc for digital audio.
Sounds like you might be having a hardware / driver problem with the soundcard more than an OS problem though. I'm not familiar with that card personally, you might want to check your hardware documentation and make sure you're not trying to push too many voices out of that card at once or perform some other operation it isn't capable of doing.

Logic Likes a lot of RAM. Get more if you can and make sure you disable all startup items you don't need.
