:o I don't know if this is the correct room to ask these questions, so here Iam. I would like to know if I can use any kind of sound module to enhance the sounds of my keybroad? For instance, if I have a Yamaha P80...and I like the sounds thats on the Roland RD150...Would I be able to play this roland sound module on the Yamaha P80 and still have the YamP80 sounds?. Hope you understand what I mean. See love the Roland RDl50, the Kurzweil Piano sounds they offer, and the Yamaha p80 has alot of features..so I want to take the other sounds {Roland and Kurz} on myYamP80. What do I need to consider purchasing to make this happen? Thanks:cool:
You would need to buy all three, then connect them via midi - choosing the keyboard that "feels" the best as the control keyboard. Then, you should run all three through a mixer of some sort and out to a pair of monitors or a PA system.

Bob, so u mean I can get all the sounds what about will I still have the yamaha sounds also I can use at the same time too? Now Iam no sure what u mean when u say I should get a mixer to send the sound out though the monitors? Can you explain to me what I need to purchase to have this hooked up properly? Thanks
all the sounds are going to come from each keyboard or module and out to a mixer. A mixer will "mix" all three signals and output one stereo signal out to some sort of listening device. There are plenty of different mixers to choose from and the right one for you would depend on what your looking to accomplish and what type of sound quality your striving for. Feel free to call me between 9-6 eastern standard time and we can further discuss.
