I have a Power Mac 9500/150 running OS 7.5.5 with Pro Tools 4.0.1, Sound Designer 2.8.2, MOTU Clockworks 1.0, and Studio Vision 4.2.1. I need to upgrade my OS to at least 8.6 in order to run any newer programs or peripherals. I read on the Opcode "website" that they have an upgrade to 4.5.1 and that OS 8.5 is OK. Does that mean that 8.6 is not OK? What about the Sound Designer upgrade 2.8.3. Is that compatible with OS 8.6? Pro Tools I'm not worried about. And lastly, would I have to upgrade my version of Clockworks? The bottom line is...does anyone out there have a Mac with OS 8.6 running Studio Vision and Sound Designer II without any problems (reinstalling, authorization, digital audio problems, etc.) Any help will be greatly appreciated. Everyone says I should just dump those two programs and move on, but that's easier said than done. Thanks
