Macintosh And Line6 Pod

I AM CURRENTLY RECORDING HEAVILY DISTORTED (rectified) GUITAR FROM MY POD TO A TASCAM 424. HEADPHONES SOUND GREAT PLAY BACK THROUGH SPEAKERS IS JUST RICULOUS.ANY SUGGESTIONS?
ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE OF THINGS I JUST GOT A NEW POWERMAC.I ONLY PLAN ON RECORDING GUITAR TRACKS AND SHORTLY AFTER ADD IN A TYPE OF KEYBOARD. again, all my guitar is very heavy it needs to be clean...thanks..J

The Pod rules! I use one going into my Digi001 and then into a mac. It sounds great. Since you seem to be having problems, it might be due to the AIR switch. Try reseting that or you might even try checking the line leve inputs into the Tascam.
