Hi everybody,
I have just come accross this Forum and registered today.
I am a complete novice to the scene and will need lots of help.
I bought an Evolution MK-449C keyboard recently which took me weeks to set up using the very poor Getting Started manual .
What I really need is software suitable for a novice to understand .
Is there a simple programme featuring basic guitar strums to play along with or can I create such backing tracks (I told you I was A Beginner !!)
The software that came with it is Sound Studio 2 and a demo version of Sound Studio Pro.which has now expired its trial period and the full version is no longer available ,would you believe.
I would be grateful for any guidance ,also it would be a good idea to have a beginners section on the forum .
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards George........

Hi George,

I'm moving your post to the Control Room forum. I think you'll get a better response over there.

For backing tracks, really you can't go wrong with Band in a Box. It's cheap, simple, works well on Mac and PC and has LOTS of music and songs to choose from. Check it out at Sweetwater.com and do a store search for BandinaBox.

You'll be happy you did!
