View Full Version : Editing software for Mackie hard disk
I have the Mackie MDR 24/96 hard disk & I would like to be able to take one or two tracks at a time over to my PC & open them up in Sound Forge to do an edit & then fly them back over to the Mackie and still be in syc. It seems like someone should make software that will let me do this sort of thing. Any suggestions?

LWR, you already have SoundForge - so you are halfway there. I would consider investing in a MOTU MTPAV for keeping the MDR in sync w/your PC. It might be wise to consider a multitrack program like Nuendo so you can take all of your tracks back & forth.
