I recently received my solo/110 (I got the solo/610 a couple weeks ago)..both are amazing!.....really versatile with the tone/gain knob...and the tone is great...110 is velvety crisp...610 rich and airy. I've been having great fun trying different mics on them, but it's time to put them to work.
Definitely recommended.

I'm really interested to hear your experiences with these 2 mic pres. I am interested in buying one, but can't decide which to go with. I think I would be using it mostly to record vocals through either a Neumann TLM103 or a Blue Baby Bottle. Both are solid state mics and I thought a little tube warmth might be nice. But I don't want to sacrifice clarity. I'm leaning toward the solid state 110 for the most accurate clarity I can get for my money.
Mostly I want the best sounding vocal track I can get for my money. I want my budget studio to sound like a pro studio (as close as possible). What are your thoughts on these 2 preamps?
