firewire software for Motu 828?

Friends,

I am a new user of the motu 828 and I can't get it to work with my g4 laptop. I'm using Mac OS X and when I try to use the Motu it tells me I need new firewire software. My computer has the latest firewire software so why oh why won't it work?

I haven't gotten my new G4 yet, but I know that most programs/drivers are not yet written for OSX. Try running in "classic mode", which should be OS9 or so.

I have the same thing. I was told by sweetwater tech that classicwill not
work. You have to run OS9, that is if you are running DP3.
