Does anyone know how to use the VotA speech tool? I can get lots of vowels, I can use the amazing glissando. But I'd like to use the speech tool to actaully use plosives and the like in music. I know it's not going to sound real if I use it up front. I just want background voices that sound like they might be saying something (latin or something non-distinct). If anyone has any experience getting this to work, I'd love to hear how I can do the same.

VOTA is cool but its old technology. The timbre of the choir is incredible but a lot of the vowels and transitional phrase building sounds as if it may have been recorded in a smaller room than the hall the rest of the choir is in. Symphonic Choirs by East West uses upgraded word-building technology - its no cakewalk but they appear to have gotten a fairly large community at soundsonline forum to support users - perhaps even your vota question as well.
Hope this helps.
Best,
