1. How to the Big Ben Clock and RME FF800 Compliment each other and do they make a difference or improve the quality in the converter using the big ben c777 technology...
2. Alot of people been saying they had trouble wit the drives usings macs...with the pc what do u need to have, to use this outside firewire plug to run this without having trouble.
3. using the ff800 is a interface and converter, ya'll say the preamps ain't all that great but wut if u dont plan on using mixer preamps anyway, cuz u wanna use a external one like a chandler, or great river, or a millennia STT. If plug these into the fireface do i even haveta worry about that being a issue??
4. let's just say i dont wanna use the fireface and would rather go with the apogee800, i could plug this in a fireface cuz it has one now. But the two other things on the back bannel got dsub's saying 1-8, and no interface or mixer i've seen would allow me to use those and plug that in...
5.gear i want to use and looking into is...
Millennia STT=which is a all in one box for preamp, eq's, compressor
Voiceone=which is for vocals basically effects and pitch correction
Yamaha SPX2000=A MultiEffect Processor
2016=For Reverb
DBX165a=Just for an addittional Compressor that said to do well with vocals(which is all i'm aiming for...)
now on one of these devices it takes a AES/EBU and 2 of those i think takes a SPIDIF
Now i wanna find something that can Connect all these up, Have a good interface to even run ADOBE AUDITION, SHUT UP I LIKE IT DONT WANNA CHANGE!
Need to upgrade to be 24/96khz even tho i really aint gonna record on that cuz i dont really the point cuz u can't sonically hear it...i'll probably stay the highest 88 or 48khz range and save processing power.
also want to use as monitors is Yamaha NS-10M, Genelec 1031A's, and One Bass Box iono what to get to go wit that still looking but i need to plug these up as well...
When i cop this gear real soon i want no problems wut so ever...And I May wanna Mixer just cuz i dont wanna go back to the Mouse and Move every single Fader...
So give some ideas if u can....
1 other conveter i looked into i think it's called LUCID88192 just came out gives u 8 XLR in and Outs and 8 AES/EBU In's and Out's...i thinking bout coping dat wit the Big Ben and using the firewire's...i got all the plug in i/o i would need to best connect the items i have above...but i would need to get a soundcard and i still wanna use a cheap mixer and iono how exactly would these devices connect with each other going like the mackie1604vlz or a spirit8, or any other small compact mixer that give me some decent eq's. so can someone give me some advice on that
