MOTU and Digital Performer opinions

Just purchased the MOTU Ultralight FW interface and Digital Performer for my my Mac (finally upgrading from a crummy Edirol USB interface and Garageband). I got DP on advice of my sales engineer and I was wondering what experiences or opinions anyone may have with the program. Also any opinions about MOTU?
BTW - my equipment should arrive tomorrow!!!
