i just got my new Mackie VLZ 1202 Pro mixer and i hooked up my keyboard to it and for some reason, when i try to play on Audio Track 1 in Logic Audio Platinum, nothing comes out!

i looked at my control panel on my Terratec sound card and the meter is reading it when i press a key. same with the mixer.

its gotta be something in Logic, cause i can record in Acid Pro 3!

any help is appreciated!!

Are you going out of your mackie into your soundcard out of the rca or xlr or 1/4 inch outs? Are you getting any input into the logic meters? And since it is a sound card, like a multi media one, look at preferences on your sound card...maybe you have your line in muted. If you are getting a signal in logic but no sound then maybe it's a routing issue. Try sending the outs of Logic into the right input of the card.

Do you have the audio input (and output) selected on Audio track 1 (in the mixer)?? Do you have the correct output from that channel. How much do you know about Logic??
