Waveburner Pro...Mac...CD-RW?

Can anyone suggest a CD burner model that is compatible with Waveburner Pro 2.1 and my G4?
Emagic's website lists mechanisms only. Many of these are already history and retailers usually advertise models not their mechanisms.

I wish I could help you. I've been trying to find out if WBPro 2.1 will work w/my iMac's built in cd-burner and I can't find that out either. Their website has a list of firewire and scsi drives that it supports, but I can't find out anything else. I emailed em twice and the first time they wanted me to install some driver that'll do something about checking for which cd burner I've got (I obviously didn't do it). And the 2nd time they said to check the sight later for updates. How are they gonna make a cd mastering program for Macs and then don't support the built in cd-burners?
