Didn't know where to put this, but I really like what you guys did with the forum.

Thanks Randy:

I'm told by the tech guys that we cleaned a lot of stuff up in the back end as well. I presume it will run better in a number of potentially subtle ways.

It's a big change so it will probably take some getting used to. To anyone finding themselves disoriented, please try it for a while.

Couple of things I've noticed so far.

The log-in cookie isn't holding. I have to log in everytime I return to the forum, and it didn't used to be that way.

Also, when replying to a post the curser defaults to the search box in the menubar above instead of the text box I'm typing in right now.

So no more editing posts?

The anti-spammer button in the top right corner is kinda cool.

Hmmm...I'm not experiencing either of those things. I'll look into it. Some details about your system/browser might be helpful.

oh yeah, sorry.

OSX 10.4.3 G5 Dual 2Ghz running Firefox 1.5

Seems to do the same thing on Safari, the defaulting to the search box instead of the text box.

What I have to do is click in the text box to type a reply.

Mine didn't stay yesterday, but today it's working. I had to check the box again today when I logged in.

They are working on it. Should be better soon. I think the cursor problem is solved (or nearly solved).

Sorta...it's almost there :)

When replying to this I let the page fully load, and the curser didn't go to the search box, but it didn't go to the text box either. It went to nowhere land.........

I'm happy to report today the cookies are working!!!

BTW, I realized today that all the forums don't default to the text box window when replying to messages. I have to click in there on other forums also.

silly me...having you poor guys running around like chickens with your heads cut off.
