I intend to wire my microphones inputs from studio medusa to a balanced pacthbay and from the patchbay (normalized) to the consle inputs, so I might somettimes take mics signals from pacth and conect it to external pre-amps. Does anybody know any trouble in improove it?

sound good dude. your mic panel in the live room should be normalized to the console inputs. Personally I prefer half normalled connections to provide more flexibility in mic inputs. but there is nothing wrong with normalized. You using 1/4" or good old TT?

Thank you dude for your reply.
I have already tried the half normalized on mics but it ddidnt work because the console phantom power. The voltage supplied by the phantom circuit use to be until 48Volt and when you take this signal (voltage) with a pacthcable and conect it to another point, the patchbay sparks.
I think the best way is really the normalized>
