1. Volume Control
Control the volume of the 1/4" main outputs located on the back panel of the OASYS and your headphones volume with one conveniently-placed slider.
9. TouchView Control Screen
This adjustable-angle display is graphically rich and provides an intuitive way of working with all the possibilities OASYS offers. Not only is the color display amazingly easy on the eyes, but it's very large AND you can control many of the displayed elements with your finger!
2. Vector Joystick
This performance controller puts the power of Vector Synthesis in your music-inspired hands! The Vectory Joystick allows you to blend and control oscillator volumes, synth parameters, effect parameters and more!
10. Velocity-Sensitive Pads
To give you that much more control over your sonic signature, the OASYS features 8 velocity-sensitive drum pads and chord triggers on the front panel.
3. Joystick
This controls pitch and modulation. Move the joystick up/down and left/right (+Y, -Y, -X, +X) to vary the effect. Various program parameters and effect parameters will determine what is being controlled by the joystick.
11. Mode Keys
These function keys include COMBI, PROGRAM, SEQ, SAMPLING, GLOBAL and DISK.
4. Ribbon Controller
Slide your finger to the left or right on this ribbon controller to control the pitch or modulation. Various program parameters and effect parameters will determine what is controlled by the ribbon controller.
12. Utility Keys
These function keys include HELP, RESET CONTROL, COMPARE and FUNCTION.
5. CD-RW Drive
Create original CDs, back up your data or play back and sample from an audio CD - all without needing to connect any external equipment!
13. Bank Select
Quickly and easily bank between all hundreds and hundreds of Preset and User Programs and Combis in the OASYS.
6. KARMA Control Keys
KARMA continues to set the standard by which all other arpeggiators, phrase players, and musical effect generators are judged. You can control the KARMA features right from the front panel of OASYS.
14. Sequencer
This is the start/stop key for song or cue list recording and playback in Sequencer mode, and SMF playback in Song Play mode. These keys are also used to play an audio CD.
7. Assignable Rotary Knobs
These 8 configurable knobs give your fingers the control they need for things such as Pan, EQ, FX sends and a whole lot more. They can be used to control several functions of the OASYS, external MIDI devices and software such as virtual synths and DAWs on your computer!
15. Tempo Control
This adjusts the base tempo of the arpeggiator and sequencer. The LED will blink at quarter-note intervals of the current tempo.
8. Assignable Sliders
Sure you can use these sliders to control the volume levels of your MIDI and audio tracks, but you can also use them for further KARMA control and a whole lot more (including external MIDI devices, virtual synths and DAW software)!
16. Sampling
This section includes the REC and START/STOP keys that enable you and your OASYS to take advantage of its vast sampling capabilities.
