The year 2003 marked 40 years since KORG founder, Mr. Tsutomu Katoh, entered the world of musical instrument manufacturing. His first product was the DA-20, a rotary disk, automatic, electric rhythm machine. It goes without saying that the DA-20 was viewed as an innovative device - a recurring theme during KORG's successful tenure!

Jerry Kovarsky, the Keyboard and Recording Product Manager with KORG, recently took time out of his busy schedule to visit Sweetwater. We took that opportunity to sit down with Mr. Kovarsky to find out more about the inside scoop regarding product design at KORG, and to gain his insight on the marvelous instruments KORG continues to deliver (plus a bit of speculation on where the industry is going).
