Always Look For The Obvious When Troubleshooting
10/31/1997

True Story (names have been omitted to protect... someone)

Customer call to Sweetwater's Technical Support Department: "I cannot get my (insert name of device here) to eject a disk."

After 15 minutes of support and the customer becoming upset that his new unit was defective, it turned out that he did not have a disk in the drive to eject.

So, our TTOTD: Always look for the obvious when troubleshooting - the time you save may be your own!
