The effects section of the Korg OASYS is actually far more sophisticated than many expensive rackmount effects units. To produce a wider stereo field, you'll want to select the BPM Stereo DDL, then use the "Adjust %" parameter to set the left delay to + 0.50 and the right delay to - 0.50. This small offset of each delay spreads the stereo sound across a much wider virtual space. It's great on strings and pads, or anywhere you want a some additional animation - playing big chords with a guitar patch, for instance. Naturally, you can use this in conjunction with other effects to create an even wider stereo spread.
