Well, they're not actually lost, but the software that keeps track of which files are on which drives may get confused if you move things around too much (for example, move the percussion to a different hard drive, then back to the original when you find that the Appassionata Strings won't fit on your main VSL library drive). To help keep things in order, you'll need to have the latest version of the Syncrosoft Licence Control Center installed and make sure you have repaired all permissions on your system drive. Next, you'll open the VSL Directory Manager and remove all the folders you see (highlight them, then hit delete). Next, locate all your VSL library files and add them to the Directory Manager via "drag and drop" from the Finder. That's step one. Tomorrow, we'll finish this up with step two.
