Performance tips for Roland's V-Synth & Time Trip Pad!
02/12/2004

On Roland's V-Synth, did you know that you can apply a variety of effects simply by touching your fingertip to the Time Trip Pad located at the left side of the front panel?

For example:

  1. Select Patch 023, TimeTripRun.

  2. While playing the keyboard, move your finger in a circle on the Time Trip Pad.

    - The sound speeds up when you move your finger rapidly in a clockwise direction, and slows down when you move more slowly.

    - When you move your finger counter-clockwise, the sound plays backwards.

    - When you stop moving your finger, the sound freezes in place.

  3. While playing the keyboard, lightly touch your finger at the edge of the Time Trip Pad and move your finger towards the center. Notice how the sound changes!
