Apollo Question
02/06/2012

Q: I'm very excited about the new Universal Audio Apollo audio interface. One question: is it possible to process some signals with plug-ins while recording them to your DAW and at the same time route other signals that are not processed with plug-ins to the DAW?

A: Yes, using the Console software that comes with the Apollo, you can choose to insert UAD-2 plug-ins onto any of the input signals you desire, while leaving other input signals unprocessed. You can choose to monitor the plug-ins while tracking or to record them permanently onto your tracks as they are laid down in the DAW.

Our Customers Say...

Ninety-five percent of everything in this studio came from Sweetwater. My Sales Engineer is a lifesaver. I started working with him around 2005, talking to him about what my vision was for the studio. He was right there all the way.
