Frozen Assets
01/24/2007

A powerful feature of Logic Pro is the ability to "freeze" virtual instrument tracks - render them to hard disk - in order to free up CPU power for other purposes. One thing to remember though: The frozen tracks don't respond to tempo changes, and will therefore play back at the wrong tempo (and out of sync with non-frozed tracks) if you change the song's tempo.

The fix is easy: If you change the tempo of your song or a part of your song, unfreeze (thaw?) your frozen tracks, then re-freeze them again.
