Transport Controls
- A set of controls dating back to hardware (mechanical) recorders and players that set the transport in motion and control its action. Modern solid-state recorders, DAWs, and software applications carry forward the concept of transport controls for controlling playback and recording of sequences and audio tracks. Transport controls typically include Play, Stop, Pause, Rewind, Fast-forward, and Record buttons, as well as jog/shuttle wheels, etc.
