Rick-O-Sound
This is a simulated stereo sound effect designed by Rickenbacker. It works by dividing the signal from the pickups and feeding them to two different amps. The jack plate on Rickenbackers with this feature had a socket for a stereo guitar cable (which output only the "Rick-O-Sound" effect), and a socket for a mono guitar cable designated as "Standard."
