Pitch Shifter
An algorithm or processor that raises or lowers the pitch of an audio signal. Pitch shift may mean changing the pitch of the signal by as little as a fraction of a cent (for doubling, widening, or chorusing purposes) or by as much as an octave or more for creating harmonies or special effects.
