Pin Out
Also known as "pin-out" and "pinout." The arrangement, function, or configuration of the connections within a multi-pin connector. For example, the pin out for a 5-pin DIN MIDI connector: pin 2 is shield on output and thru, not connected on input; pin 4 is positive; and pin 5 is negative. Pins 2 and 3 are not used.
