Motion Graphic
- A static graphic such as a photo, illustration or graphic element with motion applied to it for use in a video or other dynamic presentation formats. In a video editor, for example, a photograph can be made to move around the screen, zoom in and out, etc., which creates a feeling of motion somewhat similar (though much less dynamic typically) to conventional video. This not only allows more editorial control - providing a way to focus attention on a certain part of an image - but also creates a feeling of movement that's familiar to and consistent with the expectations a viewer has when watching video material.
