Finale
- In classical music terms, this word refers to the last (final) movement of a non-vocal, multi-movement instrumental work (e.g. symphony, concerto, sonata). Today, the term may just as likely refer to a big finish in a piece of contemporary music, including rock and roll. It may just as easily be used today to denote the final episode of a TV series (as in "season finale") or movie trilogy.
