Double Neck
- A large electric guitar specifically designed and built with two necks. The most popular of these usually combine 6- and 12-string necks, with separate controls for each. Double necks may also combine a 6-string guitar with a 4-string bass, or even a 6-string guitar with an octave-tuned guitar. The most famous double-neck guitar is unquestionably Jimmy Page's Gibson EDS1275, which Gibson has just recently reproduced as a limited edition instrument. Stairway to Heaven anyone?
