About the Artists:
James House and Danny Flowers are two of Nashville's finest songwriters. They have toured the world as performers and musicians, sold out concerts, and are regular headline artists at Nashville's famed Bluebird Café songwriter nights. Between them they have five number-one songs, countless other hits, and decades of experience in the art of writing songs. Songwriter Pro Camp offers a unique opportunity to have these legends work with you to not only craft one of your songs, but also coach you in how to best perform it for the public.

James House has written number-one songs for Martina McBride (Song of the Year nominated "Broken Wing"), Dwight Yoakam ("Ain't That Lonely Yet"), and Diamond Rio ("In a Week or Two"). Other artists who have recorded his songs include Tina Turner, Olivia Newton John, Rod Stewart, Sara Evans, Steve Azar, Bonnie Tyler, and The Mavericks, who currently have a new top-40 country hit with James's and Raul Malo's "Born to Be Blue." His own albums have appeared on many critics end-of-year "Top 10" lists, and his single of "This Is Me Missin You" was a top-five hit. His duo The Troubador Kings recently released a new album and had one of their songs appear on the HBO TV show "True Blood." James also has been featured singing in movies (Tin Cup, Ishtar), has performed with The Beach Boys on national television, and even acted as a vocal coach for Dustin Hoffman!

Danny Flowers is a Nashville legend who's written for Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, and the Blind Boys of Alabama. He first came to prominence as a writer with number-one hits for Don Williams, such as "Tulsa Time" and "Back in My Younger Days." Other famous songs include "Gulf Coast Highway" with Nanci Griffith and "Before Believing" for Emmy Lou Harris. Along with country and rock, Danny has written a number of gospel and faith-based songs. His most recent album, Tools for the Soul, was a favorite of country artists and critics alike. He has played as both a session musician and on the road for Vince Gill, Don Williams, Dobie Grey, Nanci Griffith, and Sweethearts of the Rodeo. He had a supporting role in the recent film Country Strong.
