| Once I saw a friend running similar software on a lesser computer, I was glad that I'd purchased the Creation Station. Basically, the machine is a tank. It just delivers on all levels. It takes very computing intensive tasks, such as loading virtual samplers and the multi-megabit files that go with them, and completes them in split seconds. I can't endorse this particular machine for Windows based music production enough. It is truly an incredible machine. Thank you, Sweetwater, for letting my dreams become realities. |

The packaging of the CSPro was sweet (I appreciate that kind of stuff, I know where some cut corners). My shipment arrived in two boxes. I opened the first to find the software and hardware I had ordered to put in the Creation Station. I opened the second box and immediately found a slip of paper indicating exactly what had been installed on my computer - what a sigh of relief! All the "connections" had already been made and tested. The software was installed and I was ready to plug it in and get to work. The physical appearance of the rack-mountable version of the Creation station is slick. The back panel looks pretty much like any other CPU I've owned - but the front - that's a different story. Neatly hidden behind lockable doors one finds some very conveniently placed options. An on/off switch, a multiple card reader for all the memory sticks, smartmedia, etc., 3 additional USB ports, and the combination DVD R/W - CD R/W drive. My only moment of confusion was actually powering it up the first time. But after a few seconds I realized that I didn't need to worry about the on/off switch on the back panel. I can power up from the front panel. This is very convenient for me as this Creation station will be in a location where my students could get into it. But, having the lockable doors prevents their gaining access without my approval! Good move Sweetwater!" |

| "I just received my Creation Station Pro. I'm so impressed on many levels. With my old setup my latest project has 17 tracks with many active plug-ins which taxed the CPU often to 70% causing dropouts and freezing which caused data loss and frustration. My system was so unstable that I had to save my work often. With the same project on my CS Pro, CPU went to a max of 30% and no dropouts or freezing! Because of this I could set the latency very low without any pops, delays, etc. The unit itself is very quiet which is nice as my recording studio and mixing/control room are one in the same.
I had the Universal Audio UAD-1 Studio Pak installed by Sweetwater, which has caused me more work - with the incredible plug-ins I now want to remix/re-master all of my prior projects. The Fairchild 670 plugin was worth the price alone! The UAD-1 with its own processor takes more CPU load off of the CS Pro. As a result I'm in plug-in heaven now! There's just not enough time in the day! I originally purchased the CS Cube but when I realized it wouldn't meet my future needs, Craig Wilson at Sweetwater was more than helpful in allowing me to return it and upgrade to the CS Pro.... no questions asked! Now that's customer service! I also like the ability to use Sweetwater's Remote Assistance if needed in the future, because I'm sure I'll eventually screw something up. Nice work Sweetwater! | "First, I wanted to tell you that I upgraded from a normal PC that I had custom built for audio. Even though it was built for audio, it was incredibly loud. I even got some super-quiet fans from the Internet, and it was still way too loud. I called and talked to Andy, one of your sales guys, and at that time I wasn't even thinking about a computer.
