| Fort Wayne Tops International List of Affordable Cities |

| The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette recently reported that Fort Wayne tied for first place in a ranking of the most affordable housing markets in six countries. In the results of a survey conducted by the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, Fort Wayne was ranked atop 159 cities. According to the report, "The median price of a Fort Wayne home... is double the median annual household income," placing the city ahead of many other urban areas and vastly better than cities deemed "least affordable." In Los Angeles, for example, the median price of a house is 11.4 times the median income.
