|Sweetwater Hires 16 Employees|
| Fort Wayne, IN, December 17, 2012 - Sweetwater, the third-largest music instrument and pro-audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 16 new employees, bringing total employment to more than 500.
Marketing Account Director Doug Stitt will lead a team to promote Sweetwater's Retail Store, the Sweetwater Academy of Music, SweetCars, Sweet Aviation, and others. He has worked as a creative director at five different advertising agencies over the past 22 years in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He holds a BS from Philadelphia Biblical University.
Technical Specialist Nicholas Morrow is from Cleveland, Tennessee, and is completing his degree in music industry recording and electro-acoustics from Middle Tennessee State University. He has been an assistant audio engineer at many of Nashville's top studios and at Abbey Road Studios in England.
Retail Store Sales Engineer Steph McDowell grew up in Indianapolis and moved to Florida to attend Valencia Community College, where she received an associate's degree in music production technology.
Receptionist Kacie Taivalkoski plans to attend Purdue University for nursing.
Receptionist Clara Cooper is attending IPFW and Ivy Tech for a bachelor's degree in environmental studies.
Guitar Technician Jesse Pollack attended the Institute of Audio Research. He has been repairing and building guitars for over 10 years.
Guitar Technician Brian Davidson is from Antwerp, Ohio. He has worked at Cooper Farms Cooked Meats.
Guitar Technician Shaun Bryan is currently enrolled in the music technology program at IPFW.
Verification Specialist Amy Houck has worked the last 16 years with Fort Financial Credit Union.
Cassandra Ecenbarger has joined the Downbeat Diner staff as the Baker. She is currently attending Ivy Tech for hospitality/pastry.
Kitchen staff member Matt Snyder has worked for many local restaurants.
Shipping Specialists recently hired include Alex White, Troy Shifflett, Robert Johnson, Scott Singleton, and Casey Ware.
