Fort Wayne, IN, May 8, 2012 - Sweetwater, the third largest music instrument and pro audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 3 new employees, including a Director of Business Optimization. The new hires bring Sweetwater's total employment to 466.
Director of Business Optimization Jeff Ostermann fills a newly created position at Sweetwater. Most recently, he worked for Ambassador Enterprises here in Fort Wayne, where he served as Director of International Impact Investments. Prior to that he was a Financial Analyst for GE/MedPro and Nortel. He is a Fort Wayne native and graduate of Northrop High School. He has a BS in Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, an MBA from Taylor University, and a Professional Coaching Certificate from Duquesne University. In this new role, he will work with management to optimize business results and provide profit coaching for various departments and divisions of the company.
Jeff Gastineau has joined Sweetwater as the new Director of Technical Services. His responsibilities will include all audio and visual needs throughout the campus, including The Performance Theatre and Conference Hall. He comes from Charlotte, North Carolina, where he owned and operated Creative EJ, a large Music Academy and Performance Theater structured very similar to Sweetwater's Academy of Music. He attended the School of Music at Ohio State University and is an accomplished musician.
Web Designer Orion Taylor has four years of experience at HPN Marketing in Fort Wayne, and has done freelance work with the Rocketman Design Group. He has a BA in Communication Arts and Graphics from The University of St. Francis. He's a musician, playing cello, saxophone and keyboards.
