Fort Wayne, IN, August 3, 2010 - Sweetwater, one of the leading music instrument and pro audio retailers in the world, recently hired seven new employees. Six are new Sales Engineers, four of whom are from outside Indiana. The new hires bring total employment at Sweetwater to 390.

Sales Engineer Peter Foster received his degree in communications with a minor in digital media from Ball State University.
Sales Engineer Aaron Rom has an Associates Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business from Full Sail in Orlando, Florida.
Sales Engineer Katie Stockman received her BA in Music with a major in film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston. She recently worked at Berklee as a lab monitor assistant in the film scoring labs.
Sales Engineer Matt Kreager received his degree in sound design at Purdue University. He worked for Smith Sound as a productions manager in West Lafayette while in school.
Sales Engineer Jim Watson has a Bachelors Degree in Music from Berklee College of Music. He worked on the stage crew helping with sound reinforcement and light design at Berklee.
Sales Engineer Karl Long has a BSBA in Marketing from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA.
Database Programmer Derek Bennett has a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems from IPFW. He has worked for Advanced Assembly as an IT Coordinator and for Kitty Hawk as a Network Administrator.
