| Sweetwater Shipping Department Expands, Adds New Supervisor | |
| Sweetwater, the Fort Wayne, Indiana music and audio gear retailer, has responded to continued sales growth by adding a second shift of shipping and distribution employees. The company announced that it has employed Tom Bowers as Distribution Supervisor for the expanded department. Bowers, from Huntington, has 20 years of supervision experience, most recently as production supervisor in Fort Wayne. “Sweetwater offers a great opportunity to build on a successful operation. It’s exciting to be involved in launching a new shift and contributing to the company’s expansion,” Bowers said. Sweetwater Distribution Manager Brian Randol said that the addition of Bowers would make the move to two shifts go more smoothly. “We’ve experienced a record number of orders recently,” Randol explained. “With Tom’s help, we can ensure that our nationwide customer base can receive the fastest possible delivery of their orders.” Bowers is no stranger to the needs of musicians. His two sons, age 24 and 21, are active musicians who play in an area band. Sweetwater ships hundreds of orders daily to its nationwide base of musicians, recording engineers, and home recording enthusiasts, distributing products as large as grand pianos and as small as headphone plug adapters. The company’s free shipping policy and quick response to order fulfillment have earned Sweetwater numerous industry awards for outstanding customer service. ### |
