|Sweetwater Productions Strikes a Note with New Composer/Producer|
| Sweetwater Productions, the recording studio arm of Fort Wayne-based music retailer Sweetwater, announces the addition of Chris Liepe to its resident staff as a composer/producer/engineer.
Liepe relocated from Denver, Colorado to assume the responsibilities of writing and producing advertising jingles and other musical content for Sweetwater Production’s commercial, institutional, and independent clients.
Liepe is a graduate of the Music Industry Studies and Music Technology programs at the University of Colorado at Denver. In addition, he has several years of experience writing, recording, mixing, and producing live and studio projects for churches, video production companies, and other organizations. Liepe also served as Assistant Engineer for the prestigious Aspen Music Festival, where he recorded and mixed many classical concerts.
“I’m extremely happy to join the Sweetwater team,” Liepe said. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with the level of professionals on the staff here. The studio and equipment are absolutely first rate, rivaling the best facilities anyone could find in New York, Los Angeles, or Nashville.”
Sweetwater Productions Chief Engineer Chet Chambers said Liepe’s experience would be immediately put to use. “With Chris onboard, we can offer any client — commercial, educational, religious, or independent — a complete package of audio services, from writing the first note all the way through to a final mastered product.”
Sweetwater Productions offers the region’s finest recording facilities, with three studios and state-of-the-art digital equipment. The studios are located at 5335 Bass Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Interested parties may call (260) 432-8176 or log on to http://productions.sweetwater.com.
