Before coming to Sweetwater, Mark Taylor spent six years as a recording engineer in the San Francisco Bay area, and also holds experience in sound for theater and television. Mark credits his varied knowledge of music technology to "on the job training from some of the best unknown engineers in the business."
Royal Taylor holds an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail. His last position was audio/visual technician for Markley's A/V in Indianapolis, Indiana. Royal says that as a Sweetwater Sales Engineer, he looks forward to "helping artists and engineers build their dream studios."
Both new Sales Engineers site the opportunity to build a stable, long-term career in the music industry as one of the aspects that drew them to Sweetwater. "I've always wanted to have a career, but still be involved in music," says Royal. "Sweetwater offers me the opportunity to do both."
